Welcome to the home of my completed cross stitch pieces for 2003. Considering 2003 hasn't been going very long, I think I'm doing quite well (at least compared to last year). This piece was completed March 5, 2003, after 16 hours of work. It is a Truswell Needlework Design called "Ray of Sunshine Birth Sampler." It is stitched on 8-inch white linen 28-count banding from Lorri Birmingham using DMC floss. I did change the last band from eyelets to the triangle stitch, and the color from 312 to 3347. I did not stitch the final yellow backstitch band, as I felt it would draw too much attention to my initials.
This was stitched for KC Timmons, a co-worker of mine, and his wife Holly. King Carter Timmons was born December 6, 2002. He is their first child. Congratulations to them!
